Linh Truong, AMFT
Linh Truong is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) and an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC), currently practicing at The Child Therapy Institute in San Pablo, Oakland, and Washington Elementary School in Berkeley. She earned her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Drama Therapy from the California Institute of Integral Studies in 2022. Her professional background includes serving as a theatre arts instructor for elementary school students at the San Francisco After School Enrichment Program. Linh’s experience working with children and observing their personal development motivated her to pursue advanced education in mental health counseling, specifically focusing on children. Linh employs an Integrated and Experiential Therapy approach, integrating Play, Drama, Expressive and Creative Arts, Mindfulness, Person-Centered, Trauma Informed, Relational-Cultural, Strength Based, Narrative, and Psychodynamic modalities. She believes that the capacity for play, imagination, and creativity are fundamental to overall happiness and well-being. Linh holds a deep appreciation for various art forms, encompassing theatre, dance, photography, crafts, and painting.
